Reminders of Our Identity in Christ in Ephesians

Foundation of our Identity is Christ is Grace
In Ephesians Paul reminds us that though saved by grace, not works, we are saved for good works (Eph. 2:8-10). Chapters 1-3 point to the “riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us” (Eph. 1:7-8), laying the foundation for our identity in Christ. Then, chapters 4-6 point to how to live it out practically in the Body of Christ as well as in the home. We do it through the strength He provides, putting on the full armor of God as our protection.
