Therein we see the Apostles obeying Jesus’ commission to make disciples of all nations, doing so through the power of the promised Holy Spirit. The Gospels give accounts of the life of Jesus upon whom the Church would be established and the Epistles add some details about the Early Church. Acts, however, is primarily considered New Testament History of the Church.
