Overview of the Gospels
In the New Testament Gospels we find record of the birth, life, death, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His coming was part of God’s eternal plan to bring salvation to the world (2 Tim. 1:9-10). Studying these books of the Bible can not only increase knowledge of who Jesus is but also foster a deeper trust in the One who died on the cross to take the punishment our sin deserves (Isa. 53:4-6).

Sometimes before delving in to a specific Gospel, it may be good to provide an overview of the life of Christ as seen in the Gospels. Here you’ll find some curriculum and teaching tools to introduce students to Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John as a whole.
