Lessons from Colossians and the Supremacy of Christ

Lessons from Colossians Point to the Supremacy of JesusIn writing to the church at Colossae, the Apostle Paul zeroed in on the supremacy of Christ, emphasizing that “He is the one we proclaim” (Col. 1:28). To fall short of proclaiming Him as Lord of all, the Head of the Church, is to fall into false teaching. This epistle clearly emphasizes “that in everything he might have the supremacy” (Col. 1:18). We need lessons from Colossians today to remind us to give Jesus His rightful place in our individuals lives, as well as in our churches. We too need to see Jesus in the fulness of who He is.
